The website www.bvs.photography is created and edited by Boris VERRIÈRES, author-photographer, for the sale of art prints of his photographic work.

Under French and international copyright law, reproduction of all or part of this site is prohibited. Photographs, logos and signatures on this site are the property of Boris VERRIÈRES (SIRET 919 776 187 00016) and may not be copied or used without written consent.

Buying a print does not mean becoming the owner of the image. The author remains the sole holder of the rights attached to the work. Sale of a print is for private use only, to the exclusion of any other use.

In photography, an “original work” is an image taken by the artist, printed by him or under his control, signed and numbered within a limit of 30 copies, all formats and supports combined. Prints offered on this site meet these conditions. The buyer owns the physical print, not the image.

These general conditions of sale are concluded between the person placing an order on www.bvs.photography (the Buyer) and the artist Boris VERRIÈRES, SIRET 919 776 187 00016. Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these conditions.

Art prints are original works, signed and numbered, printed by a professional under the author’s control. They benefit from the tax status of works of art within the meaning of article 98A of Annex 3 of the French General Tax Code.

Shipping costs indicated on the site apply to Metropolitan France. Outside this area, please contact the artist for a quote.

The Buyer must have the legal capacity to place an order.

An order is confirmed by email. The contract is formed only after that confirmation. Boris VERRIÈRES may refuse an order where a previous payment remains outstanding.

Payment is made online (PayPal) or by bank transfer. Data is transmitted using SSL encryption.

Prices are in euros, VAT not applicable. Metropolitan France delivery is included in the prices displayed for the current Fine Art offers; any additional shipping cost is confirmed before validation. Products are invoiced at the rates in force when the order is validated. The invoice is sent by email.

Goods remain the property of Boris VERRIÈRES until full payment of the price and shipping costs.

Prints are made to order and are not held in stock. Lead time, including delivery, is about two to three weeks. On delivery, the Buyer should check the parcel in the presence of the carrier. Transport damage is the carrier’s responsibility. In case of damage, refuse the delivery, note reservations on the delivery slip, and send a registered letter to the carrier within three days, with a copy to the author.

If a print does not match the order or has a defect of the product itself, the Buyer may return it in its original packaging; the author will exchange it and cover the new shipment. Because prints are made to order, the statutory right of withdrawal (French Consumer Code) does not apply.
